We are Joel and Brooke Daku, missionaries to Kiribati (pronounced Keereeboss). Kiribati is an Island nation located on the equator in the South Pacific Ocean. We believe the Lord has called us to go and preach the Gospel to the 107,000 thousand souls that inhabit this island nation. The cults and traditional churches have reached these islands teaching their work based salvation. However, we have not been able to find one Gospel preaching witness there.
We believe as Isaiah 55:5 states, “thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God.” Our desire is to see the Lord glorified in these islands. more...

You Can Know For Sure That If You Died Today You Would Go To Heaven.

1. Realize That God Loves You

God loves you and has a plan for your life.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotton Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

2. Realize All Men Are Sinners

Our sins separate us from God.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
God made man in his own image. He gave man the ability to choose right from wrong. We choose to sin. Our sins separate us from God.

3. Realize Sin Must Be Paid For

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..."
Wages means payment. The payment of our sin is death and hell, separation from God forever. If we continue in our sin, we will die without Christ and be without God forever.

4. Realize Christ Paid For Our Sins

All sins were laid on Christ on the cross.
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
He paid our sin debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, and He arose from the dead. He is alive forevermore.

5. Realize One Must Personally Pray and Receive Christ By Faith as Their Savior

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

If you realize and believe these five things then do not delay pray and receive Christ as your Savior. You might Pray something like this: Lord, I know that I am a sinner. If I died today I would not go to heaven. I believe you died and rose again from the dead for me. Forgive my sin, come into my life and be my Savior. Help me live for you from this day forward. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We will begin by starting a work on the Capital Island of Tarawa. We then plan to branch out to the surrounding outer Islands.
